Saudy Badillo is a Puerto Rico-based writer, founder, and human-centered AI strategist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, Human Literacy, digital accessibility, and ethical technology adoption.
Her work is grounded in twenty years of formal technology experience and fifteen years of self-directed study and lived experience as a person with disability. A retinal detachment in 2023 made digital accessibility infrastructure she personally depends on — not merely an area of expertise.
She is the founder of Intelligence Quanta LLC, a human-centered AI boutique helping organizations adopt AI responsibly, accessibly, and intelligently. She writes Futurista Today, a publication exploring AI, ethics, accessibility, Puerto Rico, and the preservation of human agency. She is also developing Human Literacy Lab, an experimental platform for guided AI thought experiments on agency, ethics, identity, attention, and cognition.
Her work begins with a central question: how do humans preserve agency, dignity, judgment, creativity, and meaning in the age of AI?

Su trabajo está anclado en veinte años de experiencia formal en tecnología y quince años de estudio autodidacta y experiencia vivida como persona con discapacidad. Un desprendimiento de retina en 2023 hizo de la accesibilidad digital una infraestructura de la que depende personalmente — no solo un área de especialización.
Es fundadora de Intelligence Quanta LLC, una boutique de IA centrada en lo humano que ayuda a organizaciones a adoptar la IA de forma responsable, accesible e inteligente. Escribe Futurista Today, una publicación que explora IA, ética, accesibilidad, Puerto Rico y la preservación de la agencia humana. También desarrolla Human Literacy Lab, una plataforma experimental para experimentos mentales guiados sobre agencia, ética, identidad, atención y cognición.
Su trabajo parte de una pregunta central: ¿cómo preservamos agencia, dignidad, juicio, creatividad y significado en la era de la IA?

Artificial intelligence is becoming part of the cognitive environment. It helps us write, search, decide, plan, summarize, and create. It increasingly mediates how information reaches us and how we understand ourselves.
This creates enormous possibility. It also creates a subtle risk: that humans may gradually outsource not only tasks, but capacities — not just writing, but voice; not just research, but discernment; not just scheduling, but attention; not just decision support, but judgment.
Human Literacy names the capacity to preserve human judgment, agency, creativity, discernment, empathy, attention, autonomy, and meaning-making in an AI-mediated world. It is not about resisting technology. It is about remaining irreducibly human while using it.
La inteligencia artificial se está convirtiendo en parte del entorno cognitivo. Nos ayuda a escribir, buscar, decidir, planificar, resumir y crear. Cada vez más media cómo nos llega la información y cómo nos entendemos a nosotros mismos.
Esto crea posibilidades enormes. También crea un riesgo sutil: que los humanos deleguen progresivamente no solo tareas, sino capacidades — no solo la escritura, sino la voz; no solo la investigación, sino el discernimiento; no solo la agenda, sino la atención; no solo el apoyo a la decisión, sino el juicio.
Human Literacy nombra la capacidad de preservar el juicio, la agencia, la creatividad, el discernimiento, la empatía, la atención, la autonomía y la construcción de significado en un mundo mediado por IA. No se trata de resistir la tecnología. Se trata de seguir siendo irreductiblemente humano mientras la usas.
